Passion on the Road to Excellence

On 23 November, in order to motivate students to put more effort into their studies, Shuangliu Middle School held an inspiring lecture in the stadium for students in senior 1 and senior 2.

The psychological consultation teacher, Weitai, gave a lecture on how to set bigger dreams for yourself. He pointed out typical troubles which the seniors may face and gave some specific tips on how to deal with each in an organized manner. By providing students with this advice, they are shown the right attitude to have towards difficulties and how to overcome all the tough work in the next few years.

Weitai’s mesmerizing words drew the students in and they listened with great concentration. He also gave the students a chance to call out their dream universities bravely in front of the crowd to boost their confidence. This was all very impressive.

Although the lecture was only one and a half hours long, it made huge impact on the students. Hopefully his words will be cherished by the students and not forgotten in the future.
